Advanced Behavior Treatment (ABT) supports individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and/or mental health challenges to live more independently in their homes and communities. We provide a variety of services that promote skill development, reduction of challenging behaviors, community living, and inclusion.
ABT approaches supports by using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to evaluate the relationship between the individual and his or her environment. We then assist the people who are most closely involved in the individual’s daily life in understanding how that environmental relationship supports the individual’s desire and ability to obtain or maintain the adaptive skills required to increase independence, social interactions, and overall quality of life.
